Roland JP 8080 with absolutely no output, not on the main L/R and also no sound via headphones. Like in the JP8000 I suggested a leaky electrolytic capacitor. I was right, but the difference, it was not just one but a few.
You may also noticed the dark spots on the front panel.
Sure enough I cleaned this and the Roland JP-8080 synthesizer looks and works (!) like new !
There are lethal voltage exposed in electronic devices. Unless you know what you are doing, don’t try this. If you following along, you doing so at your own risk.
