Today on my bench is a russian Elsita RMIF Analog Synth Drum Machine. It can be triggered by pads for live playing on the uprights. There are 4 percussion sections in the instrument (from bass drum, snare, to high-hat) with analog synth sound generation. This unit simply needed a complete recap. These electrolytics wre all way out of spec/tolerance. I also soldered some DIN to jack adapters since these 5 pol DIN are no longer common. Here are the pics.
There are lethal voltage exposed in electronic devices. Unless you know what you are doing, don’t try this. If you following along, you doing so at your own risk.
