Oberheim OB-X Reparatur Service
Dieses Bild verdeutlicht ein wenig den Zustand, in dem der Oberheim zu mir kam. Durch die Lagerung auf dem Dachboden war ganz schön viel Korrosion überall im Synthesizer zu finden. Die Bender Sektion bereitete mir die größten Probleme. Diese hat unmittelbar Einfluss auf die Stimmstabilität des OB-X. Somit habe ich zuerst die Feder erneuert. Es war gar nicht so einfach, aber schließlich habe ich eine Firma gefunden, die mir eine passende Feder mit entsprechender Zugkraft liefern konnte. Dann musste das Bender Potentiometer getauscht werden. Hier konnte ich auch ein passendes Potentiometer besorgen. Zu guter Letzt habe ich hier noch mittels der bekannten Schaltung aus dem Internet (Dioden) den Nulldurchgang etwas erweitert.
This picture illustrates a bit the state in which the Oberheim came to me. Because of the storage in the attic, there was a lot of corrosion all over the synthesizer. The bender section gave me the biggest problems. This has a direct influence on the tuning stability of the OB-X. So I renewed the spring first. It wasn't that easy, but finally I found a company that could supply me with a suitable spring with the appropriate pulling force. Then the Bender potentiometer had to be replaced. Here I was able to get a suitable potentiometer. Last but not least, I have expanded the zero crossing a little using the well-known circuit from the Internet (diodes).
Ich habe natürlich noch die ganzen anderen, üblichen Dinge restauriert. Neue Key-Bushings, Bus-Kontakte und Bus-Bar gereinigt, natürlich auch die Tasten selbst. Alle Potentiometer und Taster gereinigt. Alle Steckkontakte. Kalibrierung, Werksounds…

A little tip if you want to play the factory sounds. The level has to be really high. The one who goes into the OB-X. There's no point in just pulling up the level on the DAW. I switched a mixer in between, which had a high output power at the output. Only then did it work.
