Bei diesem Casio sollten alle Taster gewechselt werden. Das Display war bereits erneuert und mein Kunde wollte den Inverter abgeklemmt haben. Außerdem sollte die Batterie gewechselt werden.

With this Casio, all buttons should be awakened. The display was already renewed and my customer disconnected the inverter. Will be swapped under the battery.

Zusätzlich zu den o.g. Arbeiten entdeckte ich noch etwas Korrosion auf dem Netzteil, verursacht durch den Kleber der die Elkos festhält. Außerdem war die Wärmeleitpaste der Spannungsregler ausgetrocknet.

In addition to the work mentioned above, I discovered some corrosion on the power supply unit, caused by the adhesive that holds the electrolytic capacitors in place. In addition, the thermal grease on the voltage regulator had dried out.

Mein Kunde wünschte die Batterie künftig selber wechseln zu können. Da sie einerseits verlötet war und andererseits an schwer zugänglicher Stelle saß, habe ich kurzerhand eine kleine Platine mit einer CR2032 an zugänglicher Stelle verbaut.

My customer wanted to be able to change the battery himself in the future. Since it was on the one hand soldered and on the other hand sat in a difficult-to-access place, I unceremoniously installed a small board with a CR2032 in an accessible place.

There are lethal voltage exposed in electronic devices. Unless you know what you are doing, don’t try this. If you following along, you doing so at your own risk.
