Repair Crumar Bit 01 Vintage Analog Synthesizer came in for a complete Service.

I found some weak, some cold solder joints. These were resonsible for some voices not to play. I simply reflowed them and most of the issues were gone.

There was distortion in the output chain. I traced it down to an faulty OpAmp, which I replaced 1:1

Finally I replaced the electrolytic capacitors. This lovely Crumar is now future proofed and my customer is happy. I don't think I will ever see this one back in my workshop.

There are lethal voltage exposed in electronic devices. Unless you know what you are doing, don’t try this. If you following along, you doing so at your own risk.
